MURDER:
MURDR/ASLT2 w/Dangerous Weapon
35XX Humboldt Ave N. Friday 2/26/10 2344hrs 10-054524
V1/BF, 17 yrs, shot in the neck at this location. Victim transported to North Memorial Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead. No named suspects, however, the shooting is suspected to be gang related activity, where V1 was not the target.


ASSAULTS:
ASLT2 w/Dangerous Weapon
21st Ave N & Newton Ave N. Tuesday 2/23/10 0005hrs 10-050326
V1/BM, 25 yrs, played poker with known S1/BM, 24 yrs, 5’-6’, medium afro, when an argument ensued about money. V1 left the house & S1 ran up to V1, swinging a knife at him, stabbing his left forearm. V1 was uncooperative with police & refused medical assistance.

17XX James Ave N Wednesday 2/24/10 2256 hrs 10-052312
V1/WM, 56 yrs, & AP1/Ezekial Robinson, BM, 33 yrs, 4/15/76, both rent rooms at this location. They also share a common area for all renters. AP1 was drunk & threatened to kill V1, as he held a silver revolver to the back of his head. When V2/BF, 65 yrs, also a renter, attempted to call 911, AP1 forced her into her room. AP1 was booked into HCJ. Revolver was located, along with 4 empty shells. No injuries.

28XX Oliver Ave N Thursday 2/25/10 2210 hrs 10-053329
S1/BM, 12 yrs, 5’5, medium build, medium complexion, braided hair, heard loud verbal arguments at this address, where adults had gathered & consumed alcohol. OT2/S1’s aunt, feels S1 brought over the metal baseball bat to protect her from OT3, her boyfriend, who was arguing with her. While taking the baseball bat away from S1, there was some resistance, & OT1/cousin to OT2, hit S1 in the head, causing a small cut to his forehead. No other injuries. Bat recovered.

ASLT2 w/Dangerous Weapon (on MTC Bus)
49th Ave N & Humboldt Ave N Saturday 2/27/10 2236 hrs 10-055422
V1/BM, 15 yrs, and V2/BM, 15 yrs, were on an MTC bus, where they exchanged words with unknown S1/BM, approx 14 yrs, light build, wearing a grey hoody with the hood up & dark jeans. S1 exited the bus at this location & as he did, he turned & fired shots at the victims. V1 was shot in the shoulder, stomach, & legs. V2 was shot in the stomach & legs. Both victims transported to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening wounds. S1 fled on foot.

Broadway Ave W & Bryant Ave N Sunday 2/28/10 1255 hrs 10-055936
Officers responded to a “shots fired” call at this location & found V1/BM, 28 yrs, lying on his stomach. V1 had a gun shot wound in his back. S1/approx. 20 yrs, no further description, shot V1, who was transported to HCMC. Suspected gang-related shooting.



ROBBERIES:
ROBBIZ/Wells-Fargo Bank
41XX Lyndale Ave N. Tuesday 2/23/10 1256 hrs 10-050724
S1/BM, 35 yrs, 5’9-5’10, medium build, light brown complexion, goatee, wearing a dark stocking cap, dark brown leather jacket, presented a note to the bank teller, stating he had a gun, & demanded $100 bills. Teller complied, but only had $50’s, so she removed $1350 in 50’s for the suspect. Suspect calmly walked out, then began running. An anonymous caller saw S1’s picture in the paper & gave police strong leads as to his identity. No injuries.

29TH Ave N. & Thomas Ave N. Tuesday 2/23/10 1530hrs 10-050846
V1/BF, 40 yrs, was at the above location when approached by 3 BM suspects (no further description). Suspects knocked V1 down & started kicking her. One suspect grabbed a $10 bill from V1’s jacket. V1 complained of abdominal pain & was transported to the hospital via ambulance. V1 was uncooperative with police.

29TH Ave N. & Russell Ave N. Tuesday 2/23/10 1809hrs 10-051035
V1/WM, 54 yrs, returning from the store, was approached by 2 BM suspects. S1/BM, 20-25 yrs, 5’8-5’10, dark complexion, wearing blue jeans w/gold emblem on rear, & S2/BM, no further description, demanded money from V1. When V1 struck S2 with a bag of dog food, S1 hit V1 behind the ear with a semi-automatic handgun, causing a small cut. Both suspects fled with a pack of V1’s cigarettes. V1 refused medical.

13XX Xerxes Ave N Friday 2/26/10 2153 hrs 10-054385
V1/BF, 28 yrs, & V2/BF, 25 yrs, about to get out of a vehicle, were approached by S1/BM, 20-22 yrs, 5’6”, light build, dark complexion, wearing a black ski mask, who pointed a silver automatic at V1’s face & demanded victims bags & purses. Victims complied & S1 then fled. No injuries, but victims were shaking when making the report.

13XX Russell Ave N Saturday 2/27/10 0235 hrs 10-054715
V1/BF, 27 yrs, was getting out of her car at home when unknown S1/BM, 25-28 yrs, 5’8, medium build, dark complexion, with short black hair & a moustache, wearing all dark clothing, & S2/BM, 25-28 yrs, 5’10, medium build with a short black afro & all black clothing, forced her back into her vehicle at gun point. S1, in the back seat, held a black handgun to V1’s head, while S2/got in the driver’s seat & drove away. They returned to V1’s home demanding money & dope. S2 went into V1’s home & returned with $8000 cash, & a 9mm handgun. Suspects took other items from her purse, as well as V1’s vehicle. No injuries. V1 thinks suspects might have followed her home from a Bar.

V1/BM, 15 yrs, walking in the alley, was approached from behind by 3 unknown BM suspects. V1 had no further description, only that they were approx. 18-20 yrs-old, each wearing all black, with hooded coats. One suspect reached around V1, pushing the muzzle of a black handgun into V1’s stomach. Suspects demanded money & when V1 raised his hands, suspects removed $35 cash & V1’s cell phone. Suspects then fled on foot. No injuries.

37XX Colfax Ave N Saturday 2/27/10 16 33 hrs 10-055089
V1/BM, 26 yrs, Cab Driver, picked up S1/BM, 18-21 yrs, 5’9-5’10, medium build, dark complexion, wearing dark clothing; S2/BM 18-21 yrs, 5’2-5’5; & S3/BM, 18-21 yrs, 5’2-5’5, wearing a green military jacket, in Brooklyn Center & drove them to the above location. S1, sitting in the back seat, grabbed V1’s cell phone, displayed a box cutter, & demanded all his belongings. V1 gave S1 all his cash ($65) & suspects fled on foot. No injuries.

43rd & Penn Ave N Saturday 2/28/10 2245 hrs 10-056339
V1/BM, 22 yrs, got off an MTC bus with unknown S1/BM, 20-22 yrs, 5’10-5’11, medium build, dark complexion, goatee, with long black dreadlocks; unknown S2/BM, 20-22 yrs, 5’8-5’9, medium build, dark complexion, medium length braided black hair, wearing a black jacket & blue jeans; & unknown S3/BM, 20-22 yrs, medium build, dark complexion, wearing a dark jacket & blue jeans, because they were going to give him a ride to Brooklyn Center. Instead, S1 pulled out a knife, while S2 & S3 pushed V1 to the ground, & went through his pockets taking his cash, wallet, cell phone, & jacket. S1 cut V1 on the back of the neck. All 3 suspects got into a light blue, older model, 4 door Buick & fled. V1 treated at HCMC.

A search warrant was executed at the above address where money; suspected marijuana; cell phones; & a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol were recovered. Three parties arrested & booked into HCJ: AP1/Shantino Donato Rayford, BM, 27 yrs, 11/18/82; AP2/Dewayne Fontae Butler, BM, 30 yrs, 5/13/79; & AP3/Degeorge Thomas Tebbs, BM, 26 yrs, 1/29/84.

WEAP/DASLT2/DISARM/OBSTRU
50XX 6th St N Monday 3/1/10 2249hrs 10-057339
Officers responded to a person with a gun call. AP1/Gene Noble Hill, BM, 29 yrs, 12/8/80, was in front of his ex-girlfriend, V1’s/BF, 30 yrs., residence, with a rifle. AP1 was ordered to the ground & refused, so a fight with officers ensued. AP1 attempted to get his rifle, which was propped in front of the house, & attempted to pull an officer’s handgun out of its holster during the fight. Officers used force to gain control & AP was transported to HCMC for a head injury, then booked in HCJ. A recruit officer had a blood exposure & was treated at HCMC.
